listen to this album -> R.I.P - EP by Roken is Dodelijk i certainly would recommend it, most certainly. and something to think about?... when little children first learn the word "everywhere", how do they not get confused and think that it's just the places where the mum or dad is pointing to?  The child will say "mum, what is everywhere?"  and the mum will respond "well it's here (pointing) and there (pointing) and there (pointing), it's everywhere"... why wouldn't the child think it's just all the seperate places indicated by the mum.  You can't point to everywhere, it would take forever.  And, by the way, how do you explain "forever"?  t

I am now living in the middle of Africa.  Cameroon to be exact.  I have a little apartment (with frequent power cuts and no running water, but great nonetheless), a lovely veranda with a view of jungle jungle jungle, and, well... what can i say?  My 5 senses have all had their full share so far.  I will be out here until august 2011.  I do have a camera, but the distance from my dark room is a bit disheartening.  It's okay though, it appears as though writing is becoming my new primary means of self-expression.  Well, besides just being myself and living. :) Unfortunately, i'm not certain of when i'll next be adding to this page.  We shall s

I began reading La Nausée (Nausea) by Jean-Paul Sartre the other day.  For lack of a better word, it is wonderful.  I recommend books quite sparingly to others, but I cannot keep this one to myself.  I recently listened to Jean-Paul discuss his works in a video interview.. it took him 30 years to realise that the secrets found in literature are not at all separate from the reality in which we live.  A reality that never ceases to surprise.
